Integrated insulation and decoration is a building exterior wall system that combines insulation layer and decorative surface layer prefabricated in a factory. It is installed on the building facade through a "bonding+anchoring" composite fixing method, achieving the integration of insulation, decoration, waterproofing, fire prevention and other functions. System composition:
Insulation layer: Made of A-grade non combustible materials such as rock wool, TPA genuine gold board, IPS inorganic modified board, or high-efficiency organic materials such as XPS and SEPS graphite polystyrene board.
Decorative layer: covering fluorocarbon metal paint (imitation aluminum plate), fluorocarbon solid color paint, real stone paint, water in water, ceramic sheet, ultra-thin stone, etc., with a simulation degree of over 95%.
Adhesive layer and anchoring components: The tensile strength of the adhesive mortar is ≥ 0.15MPa, the single point anchoring force is ≥ 0.6kN, and the suspension force of the stainless steel support is ≥ 0.1kN, ensuring the safety and stability of the system.
Sealing material: Silicone building sealant (GB/T 14683) is used to achieve waterproof breathability and coordinated thermal expansion and contraction.
Execution standards:
The leading standard is JG/T 287-2013 "Materials for External Thermal Insulation Systems of Thermal Insulation Decorative Panels", which will be replaced by JG/T 287-2025 in 2025.
The supporting standards include: GB 50300, GB 50210, JGJ 144-2019, JGJ/T 350-2015, JG/T 483-2015 (rock wool system), etc.
Combustion performance requirements: Starting from June 1, 2025, the combustion performance of insulation and decoration integrated panels must reach Class A nationwide, and the use of materials below Class B1 is strictly prohibited.

Construction technology and installation process
The integrated insulation and decoration board adopts the "adhesive anchor bracket" composite installation process, and the key steps are as follows:
Grassroots treatment: Wall flatness error ≤ 3mm, apply interface mortar, and cure for ≥ 24 hours.
Positioning and pasting: Use specialized bonding mortar, point frame method or strip bonding method, with a bonding area of ≥ 40%.
Mechanical anchoring: Install ≥ 4 anchoring devices per square meter, with anchoring depth penetrating the insulation layer and entering the base layer ≥ 25mm.
Board joint treatment: Elastic sealant is used to fill the joints, avoiding rainwater infiltration and forming a "breathing" waterproof system.
Node closure: A-level fire isolation belts (≥ 300mm) shall be installed at door and window openings, parapets, deformation joints, and other locations.
Construction environment requirements: Temperature ≥ 5 ℃, operations are prohibited on rainy or windy days.
At the national level:
Starting from January 1, 2024, integrated insulation structure technology will be fully promoted for new civil buildings in urban areas.
Starting from June 1, 2025, all newly constructed building exterior wall insulation systems must use Class A fire-resistant materials, with integrated panels becoming the preferred compliant option.
Linyi, Shandong Province:
Since 2021, Shandong Province has promoted the integration of external wall insulation and structural technology, and the experience of Rizhao City has been selected as a national level typical case.
The new residential projects in Linyi City generally adopt the integrated board system, especially in the mandatory application of affordable housing and green building demonstration projects.

Suzhou City: Starting from March 2025, buildings with three or more floors are required to use integrated insulation and decoration panels, and the combustion performance of insulation core materials must be Class A.
